Best Timing For Colosseum Tour in June?

Hi folks,

Looking to tour the Colosseum in late May/early June, but never having been to Rome, I'm not sure when the heat gets to the point of being unbearable. And maybe it's not an issue?

It looks like my start time options would be:

10:00
11:00
3:00

Heat is definitely an issue so you should pick 10:00. In the summer months' daytime hours there is always an ambulance parked by the entrance to take away heat-stricken tourists. And bring your water bottle.
