My husband and I arrive Rome May 3rd in the evening from Oregon, USA. We would like to do the Coliseum tour on 5/4 and are wondering what the best time might be considering jet lag. We could do. 10:30 or 3pm tour.
I expect weather to be in the low 70’s if I’m reading temp charts correctly.
We are doing the Vatican City tour the next day a 3.

We also travel from the West Coast to Italy and we find that as long as we go to bed at a normal bedtime in Rome, so 9-10PM, we wake up with no Jet lag for the rest of the trip. Just get to your Hotel/Lodging, freshen up, go for a walk, grab some dinner and head back for a good nights sleep. Do the 10:30 Tour.
The jet lag hit's us once we get back to the US, but never have it in Europe.
