Looking for the best tour of the Colosseum - thinking we want a private one but looking for recommendations! Not too worried about the budget as this will be one of our splurges. Thank you!

We toured with Walks of Italy and it was excellent. We did an early morning skip the lines tour; there were about 12 people in our group and the guides were wonderful.

Personally I would go for the underground/third ring tour which is through the official site coopculture.
