Anyone know of a great value place to stay in the thick of the action

have stayed at a great apartment in the Borgo Po area, not touristy and had great local shops and restaurants. Easy to get around from the apartment to everywhere, €60 per night.

the owner also has an apartment one floor down, only negative is no elevator.
Torino is a fabulous city!

My family enjoyed this hotel on the "far" side of Torino Porta Susa train station: http://www.hoteltorinocentro.it/index.html. Some of the action is a short tram ride away.
