Was wondering where you would suggest to eat a lunch or dinner to really experience truffles? We were thinking of stopping in San Miniato for a meal since it is known for truffles.
Ever been to Lupupaducale?
Any other thoughts?

Many towns and restaurants in Tuscany and Umbria will have dishes with truffles. Preserved truffles are tasty but, when in Italy, I prefer to look for the terms tartufi freschi or tartufo fresco to indicate fresh truffles, usually shaved raw onto a warm pasta, omelet, etc.
