My husband and I will be traveling to the following cities Rome, Sorrento, capri, Florence, (day trip to lucca), varenna in lake como, Venice. Out of these places any amazing spa places that offers great massages for a day of relaxation.

vballrains, it's probably more important to consider which places you are staying at long enough to trade a day of sightseeing for a day of R&R? Last I looked your itinerary was really full with 8 AirBNB's booked for the destinations you mention + days trips to San Gimignano (?), Amalfi Coast and Lucca over 17 days.
I'd probably choose the city you're staying at the longest or offers the least amount of things you want to do for this. It'll help narrow down the options!

There are plenty of Chinese massage parlors all over the place.
Just google CENTRO BENESSERE (wellness center) wherever you are.
