Hello! I just booked our RS tour for Sept 27, ending Sunday in Rome. This is our first time in Europe and thought that by ending in Rome but staying at least 2 more nights in the city, we could cover things that might be missed. Was ending the tour on a Sunday a "good" idea? I know attending mass that weekend would be a highlight for my wife and was happy that we had the option. I assume that while some areas might be closed, you can still see a lot on a Sunday. Thoughts?
Also, assuming we have 2 more nights, any recommendations? Tentative plan is explore the beach accessible from Rome on Monday and leave Naples etc for another day. We would fly home either Tuesday or Wednesday.
