Best Of V/F/R 10 Day - Do we need to bring bath towels?

On the Best of Venice, Florence and Rome Tours - Do the hotels used provide bath towels? We are preparing for our upcoming trip and trying to avoid packing anything not necessary. Thanks!

It is wash clothes or face clothes that hotels do not provide. Bigger bath towels are provided. Since I don't use a wash cloth at home, it is not a problem for me.

For washcloths. Consider taking the throw away face cleansing cloths sold in the drugstores. Either pre moistened or dry. Brands that sell them are Oil of Olay, Neutrogena and others. They sell them in travel sizes or take out what you need and put them in a ziplock snack or sandwith bag. Know you are very limited in the amount you can pack. You can also call RS staff to ask them if you are taking his tour. Bobbie

FYI, you might come across some places that do give you what they call "towels" but that are almost more like waffle-y sheets - very thin, and definitely not terry-cloth. RS sells an absorbent towel that's about the size of a hand towel, if you're concerned. And you'll rarely be given a washcloth.

The Italian style towels are as Micheal described. I don't like them myself. It's like wiping off with a table cloth. Some hotels will have terry cloth towels. I've always had towels provided but never had a hotel provide a washcloth.
