Has anyone been on these tours back to back? We did Best of Italy a couple of years ago and loved the Cinque Terre. Also looking for tip on how to spend the day the whole day between tours. Stay in Naples and tour Pompeii or go back to Rome and head to Chianti for a day tour?

Stay in Naples and go to the Isle of Capri one day and Pompeii another day. I remember both of these trips vividly even after quite a few years.

We took the South Italy tour a couple of years ago and a guided tour of Pompeii was included on the itinerary. You will love that tour and how wise of you to combine the two. Southern Italy is unique and quite beautiful! Have a great time.

I would suggest going to Ercolano and Vesuvius at the end of the South of Italy tour if you stay one more day in Naples.
