Last year my wife and I did the 17 day Best of Italy Tour. It was the best vacation that we have taken. I was wondering how the Best of Southern Italy compared to the Best of Italy tour. I know that is comparing apples and oranges, but if you have been on both tours, would you mind sharing your thoughts on both of these tours? Also, have any of you taken both tours right after each other?

I can't compare the two tours you mentioned, since I've only taken the South Italy tour. It was wonderful and showed a side of Italy that's much different than the north, so I'd highly recommend it.

We have taken both of these tours although when we did the Best of Italy it was a longer trip and included some of what you will see on South Italy. I highly reccomend both tours. South Italy is quite different than the north. Both tours very enjoyable. We took the tours about 10 years apart. You won't go wrong taking the South Italy tour.
