When ar you taking it?
Have well broken in shoes.
The itinerary is different from when I did it in 2022. I’d definitely arrive to Venice 2-3 days early.
If you have the time stay at least one more night in Rome at the end.
Pack as light as you can.
Be as fit as you can. For myself the better shape I was in the more I enjoyed a tour.
This is a great itinerary! You will see so much!
Check out tour alumni scrapbooks — they usually have helpful information and details about the tour.

Enjoy!
You won't regret packing light and in an organized fashion. With as much moving around you'll do, it helps to make things simple and fast getting dressed as well as packing up and moving on. Ditto for doing as much reading / light research about locations and sites you're visiting, that can really help you appreciate / understand what you're viewing. Be sure to let your RS guide know if you have any issue you need help with, they won't know unless you tell them. Have an open and curious mindset, you've traveled a great distance from home to experience new-to-you places and culture. Expect the best and be adaptable when things don't go exactly to plan. Have a great trip!
