The itinerary we received said that we would be visiting the Uffizi Gallery when in Florence. Will that also include the Pitti Palace or do I need to buy my own tickets for there? Thanks!
Best to ask the RS office if the ticket they buy for the Uffizi is the single site or multi- site pass.
Anzysc, have you referenced the itinerary and inclusions?

The Pitti isn't included, only a walking tour, the Uffizi and Accademia so you'd need to do it on your one free afternoon in Florence. IMHO, you don't need to purchase tickets in advance: the queue wasn't particularly long the day we did it (unless that has changed). You may want to wait to do that anyway as a morning at the Uffizi may have you museumed out, and the Palatine Gallery at the Pitti is not an easy one to digest, IMHO. I know we couldn't have handled them BOTH on the same day!
As Joe has advised, though, I'd ask the RS tourist office if the ticket provided for the Uffizi is the single site or multi-site ticket, although I'm guessing it's probably not the latter.
We did this tour last year and the ticket was for the Uffizi Gallery only. Looking at this year's itinerary and "what's included" pages, I would say to expect the same this year. We purchased our own tickets to see other things during our free afternoon in Florence.

Speak to your guide ahead of time and see if he can get you the multi site ticket and just pay the difference which probably would be a savings over your buying another separte ticket to get access to the Pitti Palace
Thanks everyone for the responses, I appreciate it!
