Has anyone been on this tour, need advice as to the physical activity. I read the itinerary, as stated strenuous, but doesn't sound too extreme. My spouse is 82 and I'm 71. We've exercised all our lives, husband lap swims every day and I walk up and down 2 miles of hill every day. Neither of us overweight, just the opposite. So our age is one concern, but also my husband is on an immunotherapy drug with no side effects so far. Any thoughts? Maybe the most extreme thing will be to get from Hawaii to Palermo, a lot of air hours. Mahalo in advance!

I would plan to be to Italy 3 days ( more wouldn't hurt) before the tour starts. With the extra times zones you have to traverse you would be well served to give yourself time to reset your 'clock'.
Presumably you are referring to the Best of Sicily 2026 12 day tour.
Have fun!
