I am headed to Paris in Oct and looking to cash in some Marriott points. Can you recommend a great Marriott Hotel for a first-timer to Paris?

The most swanky would be the one on the Champs Elysees, but it would not be my pick for location. You might be happier at the Renaissance Vendome for convenience. The others are a bit on the far end of things. I've stayed in neither, since they're beyond my budget, even at the friends and family rate. You might want to squish this post here and ask it on the "West' forum since they recently moved Paris from Italy to France. :)

The Rennaisance Vendome or the Marriott Champs Elysee are both great properties and locations. You would enjoy either hotel. Have fun!! It is the most fabulous city in the world!!
