Best itinerary for Bellagio, Lugano, Bernina Pass and Cinque Terre

What is most reasonable itinerary for arriving in Milan, Bellagio, Lake Lugano, seeing the Bernina pass and visiting Cinque Terre?

I would suggest going to the Cinque Terre first from Milan. The Cinque Terre and Bernina Pass are in opposite directions from Milan. So that would be CT to Bellagio to Lugano to Pontresina (far side of the Bernina Pass). I assume you would return home from Milan.

Thank you! Very helpful! We have 3 weeks and have to end In Fribourg, Switzerland. Would you go from St. Moritz to Andermatt to Montreux and then up to Fribourg or are there other places that you suggest that we visit? We’ve spent lots of time previously in Grindelvald and Interlaken so I’d like to avoid.

You might consider Bettmeralp, accessed from a cable car along the rail line between Andermatt and Brig.

Going from Lugano to Pontresina, you will need to take the Bernina Express bus from Lugano to Tirano. That goes only once per day and requires reservations, so you should get that now. https://tickets.rhb.ch/en/pages/bernina-express

You can get to Bellagio by ferry from Varenna. Depending on time of year, you may find that there is a replacement bus to get to Varenna, Other ways are by bus or ferry from Como (city).
