Please recommend to me a city in Italy for a holiday for 2 people, where you can visit and relax at the same time, and the price will be affordable. I was thinking of visiting Italy in June for about 2 weeks. I like swimming and practicing water sports, so it would be great if the city had access to the sea or a lake. Thank you in advance.
You have asked a 'how deep is the ocean' question. You should read up on Italy and return with specific questions. Luckily for you Rick Steves Guidebooks just went on sale! https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/guidebooks/italy
Too many variables to respond to easily. What price do you consider to be affordable??? Budget ? Euro per day? Levels of accommodations ? One star, three star, five star? Go to you local library and check out some travel DVDs for Italy. Good luck.
OP it easy to use internet tools Google and Google maps to answer your questions.
What research have you done?
What is affordable to you might not be to others.
Define your budget.
When are you traveling?
Besides swimming what are your interests?
Good starting point

As others have said, start researching. Only you can decide what is economical and relaxing for you. Some suggested starting points include:
1. Rick Steves
2. Lonely Planet
3. Nomadic Matt
4. Katie Parla
5. Ciao Darcy
All can be found via Google (just put in Traveling Italy or Italy Travel) along with a host of other great informational sites. Researching, to me, is half the fun!
Another good starting point: Rick Steves Italy Guidebook (and even currently on sale).
Hi & welcome to the forum. I have visited a lot of cities in Italy but not for the water sports. So, my recommendations wouldn’t be much help. But, I just did a Google search with “Water sports Italy” and a lot of options came up. Start with those, and then after narrowing it down, we can answer specific questions for you.
Lol @ Mike. “How deep is the ocean?” this is amazing.
Watch some YouTube videos and see what you like.
Or if you truly are such a newbie, use a travel agent there's no shame in that
Take a look at towns along the Ligurean Sea....Chiavari is right on the sea, walkable and lots of water sports. Mostly European tourists frequent for vacation..a lovely town. Also, Rappalo is also a very nice location. From either of those locations you can do quick day trips into Genoa, Santa Margherita, Camogli to the North and Cinque Terre towns to the South if of any interest. Fresh seafood is abundant as well.
For a first trip to Italy for two weeks, I suggest doing Venice, Florence and Rome as well as a side trip to the Naples area. In the Naples area, stay in Sorrento and visit Pompeii, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. You need 3 nights there.
Venice 3 days, Florence 3-4 days, Rome 4-5 days.
The beaches in Italy aren't that super. I suggest skipping the beach or lake and save that for a trip to Florida or California where the beaches are great.
