Any recommendations for good, cheap hostels in Rome? I'm looking to be based near the Colloseum.

We found The Beehive which was rated very highly in Lonely Plant and Fodors. We understand it books up quickly. A room is $80 Euro.

Lilliput Hostel - a few blocks west of Termini on Via Principe Amedeo, about a 10-15 min. walk to Colosseum. Small dorms (4 beds I think), free breakfast, very friendly and helpful owners. It was around €22-25/bed.
