Best gnocchi in Rome and Venice

Might be kind of random, but I grew up with my Italian grandmother making homemade gnocchi, and on our first trip to Italy I'd like to find the best there is! Any thoughts on where in the city center of Rome or in Venice we might find some that's really good?

Potato! My grandmother used to say that was the only kind! I remember her mashing all those potatoes.

Piacere Molise near the Vatican. Awesome! When I go to Rome, I eat there at least 2 out of 4 nights. Always have the gnocchi. Very small, better if you speak just a little Italian.

Lost the business card, but you can find it on Trip Advisor, along with the address! Happy Gnocchi ;-)

Yum! Thursday is the traditional gnocchi day in Rome, you'll have more options on that day although many restaurants have it on the menu more frequently. Be sure the gnocchi are "fatto in casa" (made at the restaurant, literally "home made").
