My husband and I were semi planning/dreaming about our next trip to Italy and we were wondering in your experiences who has the best food Tuscany or Sicily?

Jesse: We have not been to Sicily yet . . . still dreaming about that. But - we have been to Tuscany several times. Part of our essential trip planning is food. On our Tuscan adventures we always plan time for a Sunday afternoon supper at Ristoro di Lamole in the teeny tiny hilltop village of Lamole (located near Greve and Panzano in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany). The views are incredeible and the food is poetry on a plate! Pasta, Chicken livers, Chiangale (wild boar stew), bistecca Fiorentina, just outstanding. The wonderful chianti - Lamole di Lamole. Dont forget to top your wonderful meal off with limoncello! Ristoro di Lamole has a website and they do take reservations. Do not miss it. Have fun.

Best is imposible to say! We love both areas for food, more meat and game in Tuscany, more seafood in Sicily. Cooking styles are a little different and what is fresh as far as veggies will vary a lot depending on the seasons.
