Best Firenze Pass alternative?

Hello!
My family and I will be in Florence from July 2-7. We were looking to book the Firenze Pass, but saw that the service has been temporarily suspended with no update on when it will return. Using the Firenze Pass in the past was a huge time and money saver, and I am a little intimidated to go without it!

One of the thing that is important to (half of) our family is flexibility. (I am the planner and panicking that we won't get to see all of the highlights!) So we were looking at the Florence City Pass, but weren't thrilled about the idea of committing to specific dates and times for things like the Uffizi and Accademia. Do you know of any alternatives that offer access to the major sites but don't make you commit to a time? (Alternatively, am I completely delusional that this exists, and this is all a COVID mitigation effort that I just need to embrace?)

If there is no quality alternative, would you recommend buying tickets in advance for the smaller attractions, or just purchasing them when we are there? (If there is no other alternative, I will book a time for the Uffizi and Accademia regardless, but I'm wondering about things like San Marco, Boboli Gardens, Pitti Palace, and things like that.) Or is it worth it to buy the Florence City Pass just to streamline visiting those sites?

Thank you SO much for any insight you have!

Ally, the only non-reservation pass option I currently know of for the Uffizi is the Amici degli Uffizi ANNUAL card. Unfortunately it stopped covering the entry some years ago to the amount of museums it used to. I would likely only recommend it if wishing to visit the Uffizi more than once, which is where the value comes in. We had purchased the family card that covered the both of us (and will also cover 2 minors under age 18, if traveling with children) and made VERY good use of it at the time - was a much better value for us than the Firenze Card as it allowed unlimited visits to the nice amount of museums it covered - but again, times have changed. Note that it also covers the Palazzo Pitti complex + Bardini and Boboli Gardens; it does not cover the Accademia.

Two of three of the passes for the Duomo complex (Giotto and Ghiberti) do not require any advance reservations. Only the dome requires an advance, timed-entry reservation (Brunelleschi Pass).

There is also the 5-day pass for one visit each to the Uffizi, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, National Archaeological Museum and the Museum of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure. However, this does require an advance, timed-entry reservation for the Uffizi.

I think you could get away with buying tickets for some of the museums, like the Bargello and San Marco, at their respective ticket offices when you arrive in Florence.
