Best ferry company for Amalfi Coast?

Hi all
Any advice about a good ferry company or app to book ferries along the AF?
We’re going in late April and will be using ferries (weather permitting) at least 4 times and thought it would be convenient to have one site or app to see ferry schedules and book as we go. Any favorites, tips or tricks?

Also, I had read on this forum that, for those prone to motion sickness, it’s better to take slower options. What thinks y’all? Given options for example, is a “Maria Donata” better than NLG Jet, or vice versa, or catamaran? Hoping for sunny skies and smooth sailing :)

I would use Omio for the ferries. They charge a small fee but their app has all ferry companies so it’s just easy to use.

I’ve used them for trains, buses and ferries for several years and have never had a problem.

At risk of sounding droll… the one that is leaving and arriving when you need it. They are really pretty interchangeable for such short trips.

I’d be surprised if you wouldn’t just be better off buying tickets the night before so you can stay flexible. April is getting busier but not like it’d be if it were late May. Thoughts, Roberto?

Advance booking is probably not necessary in April, unless it's on Saturday/Sunday or holiday (like April 25).
Summer (especially July and August) is probably a must.
