I see there are several beaches recommended for families on the island of Ischia. Does anyone have a favorite and why? Any accomodation reccomendations? Myself, wife and two kids ages 7 and 17 will be there first week of July. Thanks

Not that people on this board don't give great advice, but.....If you go on the TripAdvisor Ischia forum site, there is a destination expert. His name is Peter and he lives on Ischia and knows the in's and out's of the island.

I loved Citara Beach, near Forio. The scenery from the beach was gorgeous and the beach wasn't overly crowded, at least when we went over Labor Day weekend a few years ago. It was a very peaceful place. Ciao,
