I will be in Capri at the end of May 2016. Is there any one day of the week that is better than others to visit Capri?

Well. Any day would work, but since you mentioned you are going to that area at the end of May, around that time they start a weekly event that is called "Mercoledi di Giugno" (June Wednesday). It's an exhibit of local craftsmen that takes place every Wednesday from the end of May through June and maybe even beyond. For sure I would avoid weekends. Too many weekenders and day trippers go to the island that time of the year every weekend.
