We will be in Italy next May 31 to June 11 and we plan one day in Rome.
Is there a best day of the week to go? We plan to go to the Vatican, Pantheon, Forum and Colosseum.
Trying to miss any more crowded than usual days.
Yes I know it's a full day but we did it before and were tired but happy.

Your sites are open daily except that the Vatican Museum is closed most Sundays and religious holidays, making Saturdays and Mondays more crowded. The Pantheon serves as a church for mass on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. The other major indoor museums are closed on Mondays. Quite a few forum contributors have enjoyed getting an early start with a Pristine Sistine tour.
On specific days the Vatican itself offers early entry and even breakfast. You can get a really early start at the museums and then continue to the other sites you have listed. Here is the information.
