Best coastal town/village when visiting Tuscany area

We have rented an apartment outside of Certaldo, just north of San gimignano for 7 days the middle of June. We have a car rented and plan to take daily trips around Tuscany. We would like to go to the coast one day. Looking for suggestions as to where to go please! Thanks

Versilia (Viareggio, Torre Del Lago, Forte dei Marmi)
Quercianella and Castiglioncello.
There are other places that are nice basically south of San Vincenzo, but it's a bit far to do in a day trip.

If you have a car, go to Talamone.
I also like viareggio which is a big harbor town and quite enjoyable if you like boats. Forte dei Marmi is more posh.
That's why I do not feel like going there but I have a friend who wish she had a house there. All famous and rich people in Italy go there in the summer.

In the province of Grosseto there are several nice places: Argentario Peninsula, Talamone, Castiglion della Pescaia, Follonica, Punta Ala. However it's at least 2 hours each way from Certaldo.

Forte dei Marmi is nice and it's not true that only rich people can go there. That's where I spent my summers in my young years and I was neither rich nor famous. There are of course a lot of VIPs vacationing there (soccer players, politicians, famous designers, actors) for example Andrea Bocelli lives in Forte dei Marmi and the Italian Prime Minister vacations there every year.

Roberto, you are "rich " with advice and definitely " famous" on this site😊
Thanks for the information. We will check into those areas.
