Best Chianti Wineries, castles & gardens

We're in our 60s and doing Tuscany on our own from an agriturismo base and want to visit wineries, castles & gardens. We thought we'd visit some hill towns and do 3 days on the Chianti wine trail and are considering visiting: Castello Verazzano, Castello Fonterutoli, Castello Brolio, Castello D'Ama, Castello di Uzzano, Castello di Meleto, Badia a Coltibuono Windery, Abbey & gardens, Antinori's old wine cellar at Badia Passignano, new Antinori wine facility, Villa Vignammagio and possibly some smaller wineries. We need to narrow down our "must see" list and would appreciate hearing about some of your personal experiences and insight with respect to these options or others you consider "must see" and if you have any thoughts in terms of distance and driving on Italian roads in this area about how many properties we can see in a day and how you would group them. We appreciate wine affectionados sharing their experiences.
