Best car rental drop-off location in Orvieto

We will be returning a rental car in Orvieto, spending a day visiting Orvieto, and then taking the train back to Rome. I noticed on the autoeurope website there are 3 choices for rental locations and am wondering which is the best. I know the rail station is optimal, but there are two railstation choices shown and all 3 locations on the maps look very close. Any suggestions as to which one to pick? One is Orivetoo Railstation Office, one is City Office, and one is Downtown, Ffss Railway station. Thank you!

Most likely, each of these three offices is a different rental agency; i.e., Hertz, Avis or maybe Europcar. So, depending on which agency you are renting from will determine which location you can drop off at. Call AutoEurope to determine which location you will need to drop your car off at. When you look at AutoEurope's website, you cannot determine what agency you are renting from, only they can tell you on the phone. And, yes, the train station would be the easiest. I believe that is Hertz.

The train station is Hertz. Next to the fununcular up to town. We dropped off last Oct. It is closed for a long Italian lunch hour, at least when we dropped off.

Thanks for the help! We'll call AutoEurope and make sure we get the Hertz rental since it does look like that's the most convenient one.
Thanks again!

marge,
The Avis and Hertz stores are only a few stores apart, about 3 minute walk from the train station in Orvieto.

I recently returned a car to the Orvieto Avis location. It is right across the street from the railway station. However. I would recommend getting all the insurance possible including the insurance covering the 500 euro deductible which cost about 6 euro a day. The local local agent was busy finding multiple scratches on the car which I think had been on the car when I picked it up in Siena until I told I had paid for all the insurance. His attitude suddenly changed and he went back in his office. We were free to go. It was worth the peace of mind to get the extra insurance. The Funicular station that goes up to Orvieto is also across the street.
