Rent from a well known agency - Hertz, Europcar, Sixt, Avis
Choose No deductible, full insurance
You do not want or need a car while staying IN Florence
All drivers must have an IDP- required by law
Do your homework on driving in Italy -ZTLs, parking, speed cameras, etc
There are dozens of threads here discussing car rental in Florence, a search will bring them up
