What is the best please to go to the beach while in Cinque Terre? Best place to rent chairs and do I need to do this ahead of time (how far in advance if this is a yes). Traveling in September.

Stay at a hotel with private beach privileges such as Porto Roca in Monterosso.

Monterosso al Mare is the only one of the 5 Cinque Terre villages with a real sandy beach. The beach part on the "New Town" side has chairs and umbrellas, but they were only put out on the weekend last time we were there.
