Any suggestions on the best area of Rome to stay in for our honeymoon? We will be there for three nights (arriving November 1st and leaving November 4th) and this is the last three nights of our honeymoon. There are so many great things to do in Rome and I'm trying to find a good central location to stay for three nights but am having trouble narrowing it down.
I would second the Pantheon area- convenient to just about everything and just so cute. We stayed further northeast, close to the Borghese Gardens, and it wasn't nearly as quaint.
Think about what you want to do and see first and then look in the area for a place to stay. That way more is in walking distance. Think small, local B&B/hotel vs. big corporate/chain hotels.
For Romance? Definately the Campo Di Fiori/Navona/Pantheon area. No question. That's why we love that area - and we are celebrating anniversary #26 this year.
