We are two senior women going to Naples for a couple of nights on our way to Sorrento. What is the best area to stay in? We plan to do the open bus tour to get a general overview of Naples. We want to be able to walk to restaurants in a safe, central neighborhood. Any advice on how to get from Naples to Capri? April 5-7 Naples. April 7-9 Capri

Ferries leave Naples for Capri from two different piers. We went from Beverello and took a taxi there.
We stayed in the very nice Chiaia district in Naples near the water and felt safe walking everywhere, day and night. Easy access to the Lungomare, walking path along the water. Our hotel wasPalazzo Alabardieri. We took taxis to other areas of Naples and were happy with our choice.
