Friends - My husband (of Northern Italian heritage, 3rd generation in US) and I would like to explore the possibility of living in Bergamo area (renting) for 5-6 months after he retires (3-4 years) to research his genealogy and travel the rest of Italy. Can you provide help with 1) books to read on Bergamo: history, current issues, etc, 2) how one goes about finding a real estate agent who specializes in rental property in the area? We feel it's never too early to start our research. We currently do not speak Italian. Thanks you - mj
