Beretta factory in Italy

Here's a unique question for you all -
We are going to Italy next summer, and my husband would love to tour the Beretta world headquarters in northern Italy. When I go to the Beretta web site (int'l and usa) there's no info, and they want your life history before you can even email them! Any ideas?

What you describe of the Beretta response is typical of other people who've tried to do what you want to do. There are tough security rules, given the nature of the product as dangerous and made on private property. You'll have to comply or won't get what you want. The owner of the factory is completely in charge of who gets in.

I have similar need for help. My husband has a gun shop. My girlfriend and I are going to Italy. Her husband and mine are both crazy about Berettas so we wanted to visit their museum and surprise them we get back with souvenir. We already know touring the factory is not allowed, but we were told by Beretta USA that there is a museum about a 1/4 mile from the Beretta family house where they give tours and souvenirs are sold. I can't seem to find any information on where I can contact someone and get the hours they are open or if we need to set up appointment. ? The USA office gave me a phone number, however, it doesn't seem to work. Can you point me in the right direction? We will only be in Venice for 3 days so we need to know ahead of time when they are available.
Help.

Nena This thread you have reactivated was a question asked by kathy in November 2009 for a trip in 2010. My guess is she is back by now. It might be good to create your own thread.
