I would like to check out this website but for the life of me cannot see where to click for an English version. Is that available? Is it staring me right in the face? Thank you!
The site has a lot of information, but it doesn't have an English translation
.
If you go straight to this link (http://www.beniculturali.it/mibac/opencms/MiBAC/sito-MiBAC/MenuPrincipale/LuoghiDellaCultura/Ricerca/index.html) you will find the search engine for cultural heritage sites. You can pick a province, put a name and/or use the map.
Then, many of the websites of actual places will have English versions, quality of translation varies from flawless to botched and Google-translated ones.
Thank you for your response Nigel. I have come across references to this website frequently while researching our trip and hoped to use it. We'll follow your tips and do the best we can. Thanks again.
Thanks very much Denny, but Andre L is who you should thank for the good link he provided.
Beniculturali has a twitter account in English.
Well, how on earth I did that one is completely beyond me. I mean, I was only looking straight at the post. Thank you, indeed, Andre. And thanks Nigel for setting it straight.
I'll check it out Zoe. Thank you. Sheesh, I hope I got that one right.
put the website into the google translate search box. It'll display the page (or what is can) in english. If there is text enbeded in a picture it won't translate that but text on the page will who up in english. I used this alot planning my upcoming trip to small towns. Most small website didn't have the english transtion option.
