Bellagio weather ?

Hi - I’ve been following the weather for Bellagio trying to plan what to pack. I see so many days showing clouds and a lightening bolt. Can anyone familiar with the weather in July there tell me if storms are common for the full day or are these the kind that roll through usually lasting a really short time? I’m from the PNW so to me that looks like days and days of clouds and rain, but I’ve been in places like Orlando, Fl where a thunderstorm rolls through and is gone almost as fast as it came. Thanks!

I was in the Italian Lakes last summer for almost a week. It was the same at all three (Garda, Como and Maggiore). One day of gorgeous and one day of constant rain. Obviously the pattern may not be the same when you are there, but do plan for some major disruption to plans due to rain/storms. They tend to last for a long time, not just roll through and right on out.

July? Figure it to be warm/hot. Rain on the lake is pretty unpredictable so far in advance. The nice thing is that you have wide open vistas to all directions but south to see any incoming weather.

This may help. Not Bellagio, but close. It also has historical weather data, which you may find useful.

Pack shorts/light dress/t-shirts. It's going to be hot. If it rains (and occasionally it might although July is the driest month of the year), use an umbrella, because summer storms in Italy tend to have heavy rain. Whether they last just 1 hr or several hours it depends. A light sweater or a light jacket might be helpful for the evening, if it rained especially, since it will be cooler in the evening if it was a rainy day, but it will be welcome cool, believe me. July is crazy hot unless you go up in altitude, and the lake surface is actually not that high at all in elevation (maybe 200m=600ft)

Thank you! This is helpful info! Crossing fingers for not too much rain since we have planned so much outside stuff.

We were in Bellagio three days ago and it was H-O-T! I was surprised by the level of smog in the area. At dusk, there was an orange/brown haze that reminded me of L.A. in the 1970's. Nevertheless, it did not detract from the beauty of the area.
