We are going to be traveling from Bellagio to Venice in July. I know I can get there by ferry to Varenna, train Varenna to Milano Central and then Milano to Venice. I wonder if there are drivers you can hire that go from Bellagio to Venice? We are going to be hiring a driver from the Milan airport to Bellagio and wondered about trying to do the same to Venice. The rest of our trip we will take trains but with multiple connections for this leg thought maybe with all our luggage a driver might be easier. If you can recommend a company that does this drive that would be great too!
Shop around. Here is the full list in town:

If you took a taxi to Como San Giovanni station, you would only have one more connection at Milano Centrale all on the same level. This would save a ton of money. That brings up the question of how you will get to your hotel in Venice "with all our luggage". Water taxi comes to mind and hoping you have booked a hotel with its own water taxi dock. The money you save not having a private driver to Venice will come in handy for that water taxi.
Contact ICBellagio, a local travel agency there for help.
I would also consider taking a car service to Milano Centrale, so that you will have no train changes. Still expensive but not as expensive as a drive all the way to Venice.
Thanks for the list Roberto! I really like the idea of just getting a car to the train station in Milano - hadn’t even thought about that!
Sam - thanks! Also, we have rented an airbnb that has a dock and specified that we can get a water taxi to and from.
Suki - thank you!
