I know that shops in Varenna are closed on Monday (according to the www.varennaitaly.com site. Does anyone know if the same holds true in Bellagio? We're planning to head over there on a Monday and would like to purchase some silk ties and scarves (if they're not exorbitant, considering the euro). Thanks for any info...I've actually looked on quite a few store websites, but none of them listed store hours.

Almost all stores in Italy are closed Monday morning but open Monday afternoon. Typical store hours would be 9-12:30 and then 3/3:30/4-7pm. I can't imagine that Bellagio would be any different.
