Seven of us will be traveling in June via bus/train, etc. from Locarno to Bellagio to Varenna and on to Tirano. We want to explore a bit of Bellagio and/or Varenna but will have no hotel to store our luggage. Are there any luggage storage facilities in those areas?

I would ask any hotel to store them for you for a fee and a tip.

The last time we were in Varenna, there were no storage lockers in the station.
We asked a hotel to hold our bags !

There's no left luggage provision at either station. In addition to checking at hotels, you might also want to ask at the TI's. They might offer the service or recommend an option.
