Hello,
I will be travelling in Italy in the upcoming weeks (May 2018), and I need to get from my hotel in Bellagio to MXP for a flight out of terminal 1 at 9 PM. I was planning on doing the following:
- Bellagio Ferry to Varenna Ferry 3:45 - 3:58 PM
- Varenna-Esino station to Milan Central station 4:37 PM - 5:40 PM
- Milan Centrale to MXP via Malpensa Express 6:25 -7:16 PM
- Flight out of MXP to Paris at 9 PM
Do you all think this is a realistic travel schedule? Should the train tickets from Varenna to Milan be bought in advance? Originally I thought that since it was a local train it could be bought at the station, but some posts I have read say that you can not actually buy the ticket at the station, and since I will short at time I do not want to run into any issues. Should tickets for the Malpensa Express be bought online, or is it easy to buy them at the station?
Thanks in advances for any answers to this question!
