Bellagio Italy steps to climb

Anyone know the layout of Bellagio? Traveling with someone mobility impaired (can do steps down; not up). Is this possible? Thanks.

The number of steps will depend to some extent on exactly where you plan on going in Bellagio. The section of town by the Ferry dock is all fairly level but if you want to explore the upper parts of the town then some stairs are likely. Are you planning to stay in Bellagio or just visit there for the day?

you could walk around the road way and wind your way up to the top of the town/ shops and then come down the stairs. ( from the road/ferry wharf area) obviously it would take longer to walk that way. but yes most of the alleys between the buildings ( that go down the hill) have lots of stairs.

Thanks for your replies!
We are driving there for the day. So, I was hoping that from wherever we would park the car, the walk would be 'down' to the lakefront area, and then there would be some form of transport (e.g. taxi) back up? Or water taxi to someplace level with the car park? Or something like that? (Is the main road/car park area level with the ferry dock?)

there are some parking level with the ferry, but generally speaking parking in bellagio is very much at a premium. ( there is a car ferry also near the passenger ferry) it is flat and easy walking along the road near the ferry, along the water and nearby parks.
we found a park in a small car parking area at the top of town and walked the few hundred metres to the town proper.
if you can use google maps street view to get an idea of the area.

You may be able to go to googlemaps.com and do a street view exploratory trip before you ever leave home. Not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try.

Thanks for all your replies.
So, there is parking at the top? Does the road loop around (top to bottom)?

yes the road travels through the narrow street, between the shops, which is a no parking area ( unless you are staying there) if memory serves me correct. it loops around to the lower area where the ferry wharf is situated. the road is very much a pedestrian area.
