Will be traveling to Bellagio later this year and am looking for a central location -- either a B&B or apartment-type rental. There will be 3 of us. Wanting to keep budget below $200 US / night.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried looking at Booking.com or any other similar online options for an idea of what you might find?
With Booking.com you can put in the number of guests and define them by adults and/or children in the Guests (more options) box. You can define your dates. You can check the boxes for apartments and/or B&Bs under Property Type. You can filter in many other ways down that left side of the page after you get your initial results. Two particularly important to me are the Review Score and Price (per night). I only look at places with an 8+ review. Under Facility there are all the things like Wi-Fi, Non-smoking Rooms and under Room Facility there are things like washing machine or flat screen TV. I'm always surprised at how many options are knocked out when I check the Non-smoking Rooms box so be sure to mark that box if you don't.
Not knowing your dates of travel or if the 3rd person is an adult or how long you plan to stay (all factors that will affect price), I did a quick check and was very surprised at how reasonable some of the places were, even though I thought of Bellagio as the most expensive place to stay around Lake Como. We stayed in Varenna.
I have never actually rented through Booking.com or any similar online service. I have only used it/them to identify possibilities and then contacted them directly -- after checking Trip Advisor about the place to see if those reviews are similar to the Booking.com ones. Play with it, and with Trip Advisor, where you can also find B&Bs and vacation rentals, to see what you can learn. Other options include VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owner), Homeaway or AirBNB. All these can get you started and show you the variety of places you can choose for your group of 3.
Some are easier to search than others. Some you have to get the basics down and then read the listings for the details. Lots of picture scanning may be needed, too. For example, for my husband it's a deal-breaker if there is no shower or tub-shower combo where the shower head is not or cannot be hung on the wall up pretty high. He also has to have a plug close to his side of the bed for his CPAP machine. These are things that are not searchable. I just have to find something that looks good for everything else and then scan the pictures for them.
It may sound overwhelming at first, but after you get into it, it can be fun -- sort of like watching House Hunters International. And don't be too surprised if you find the same apartment or B&B listed in more than once place.
Thank you.
I did not know about Booking.com. I will check that out. I have looked at HomeAway and found some possibilities, but was hoping for someone to post about a specific place they stayed.
My son is getting married in Bellagio and I would like to be near the location. I've heard quite a bit about Varenna, so may check that out also -- but I believe it is a boat/ferry ride away from Bellagio.
If you end up needing to stay at a hotel in Bellagio, I highly recommend the Hotel Metropole which is right on the water. I stayed there a while back and the location is outstanding: very close to the ferry terminal, rooms with balconies giving you a vista of Lago di Como and buffet breakfast with the hotel stay.

Rates change based on the season when you go, of course. But staying in Bellagio is fantastic. I also suggest you take a peek inside the Hotel Villa Serbelloni during your visit in Bellagio. If you ever want to have a five star experience without actually paying the price for staying at a five star hotel, stop in and have a cocktail or meal there.

I just added one suggestion on your earlier question.
