We will be staying in greve for 3 more days and someone recomended a restaurant near here that has fabulous outside grilled beef. Any one know its name and location

I would guess it is Dario Cecchini's butcher shop/restaurant in Pienza, not far from Greve. His website is www.dariocecchini.com.

Roy: I was thinking it must be Dario's as well. It is not in Pienza however - it is located in Panzano (about 8km from Greve). Panzano is a great little village and both Dario's butcher shop and his restaurant are worth the visit. Have fun.

Sorry Jon you are correct - I had my "P" towns mixed up, which is funny since we are both in Portland! Still recommend Dario though!

Thanks we had Darios 12 course communal dinner last night with a great bunch of people. Great food 30 euros a person. He serves 16 people over a two hour span. Then after dinner he serves Grappa out in front of the restaurant personally. Great experience
