We're extending our Heart of Italy tour in Oct. with a trip to Venice. We are planning on taking the train from Rome, where the tour ends, to Venice. Any suggestions on a bed & breakfast to stay in in Venice for three nights?

Any price range requirements or special location where you would like to stay? www.tripadvisor.com shows 301 B&Bs in Venice.

I was really pleased with Ca' Centopietre located on Dorsoduro about 5 minutes from the Accademia vaporetto stop. I stayed there for a couple of nights last May. Room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The owner was delightful and very helpful. There are lots of reviews on tripadvisor if you want input (this is how I found it). Their website is www.centopietre.net.
By the way, when I sent an email to them directly they offered me a lower rate than was posted on the website.
