My daughter is traveling to Italy with a group this summer. She has a BECU ATM card. It doesn't have a MasterCard logo on itCan she use it there?

Look on the back to see what affiliations the card has (Cirrus, Maestro or whatever). I assume she will be calling BECU to notify them that she'll be travelling abroad? Also, travel funds must normally be in a chequing account, as many ATM's in Europe don't provide a choice between savings and chequing. Funds will usually be drawn from the "primary account", and the financial institution will be able to tell you which account that it.
