Beach/swimming in the Sorrento area

Hi,

My partner and I will have 1 full day to spend in Sorrento on a Monday mid June. We'll have all morning and evening to walking around and explore the town so we are hoping to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon at a beach or near a place to swim. From what I've read, the beaches closest to the marina/port are not that nice but I've identified the following potential spots:
1. Marina di Puolo Beach seems like a nice beach but would it's not right in Sorrento.
2. Bagni Regina Giovanna seems like the most scenic natural area but it's also outside of Sorrento and I hear it can be very crowded
3. Stabilimento Balneare Bagni Salvatore seems to be the best option closest to town but there are fees involved for the sunbeds, etc.

For those that know these spots, what would you recommend?
Thank you!

I would go to Marina di Puolo o Massa Lubrense.

I don’t like the beaches in Sorrento town. And by the way it’s mostly rocks, cliffs, and pebbles, not sand.

All the Bagni (beach clubs) will want money to rent you an umbrella and two chez. Nothing is free. You should expect to pay about 25€ to 30€ for one umbrella and two chez. There might be spots where you can stay for free, but not at a Bagno.
