I've seen photos of a beach in Vernazza, not where the boats are next to the village square, but slightly south of the village below the cliffs. How do you get to that beach?
As you are walking down the main street in Vernazza from the train station to the harbor keep looking to the left and you will find a small path that leads through a tunnel in the rocks. That will get you to the beach.
