We will be visiting Tuscany for a wedding (+ a few days for enjoying the area), and then would like to follow it with some beach time. Any recommendations (will be early June).
Not interested in the Amalfi Coast or Naples (already have visited)!

Where in Tuscany?
I love the rocky beaches of Monte Argentario, plenty of sand nearby too on the mainland and the spits connecting the promontory to land. Maremma park has some stunning beaches, then as you go north it gets les appealing to me personally but there are some nice spots, I like the orange sand beach near Baratti/Populonia.

Viareggio could actually be a lovely choice for this. Especially in early June, before the busiest part of the summer season.
What I personally like about Viareggio is that you get a proper beach holiday, but you're still in Tuscany and very well located for exploring. You have long sandy beaches, plenty of beach clubs and restaurants, and a lively promenade, but you're also within easy reach of places like Lucca, Pisa and the beautiful towns of the Tuscan countryside.
It's also a completely different experience from the Amalfi Coast, so it could be a nice contrast after your wedding trip.
And since I live here in the area, I have to give a little tip for a lovely stay in Viareggio: La Pépite, a beautiful new boutique guesthouse, created by friends of mine. It's tucked away in a quiet little street, just a few steps from the seafront, and has been beautifully renovated with a lot of attention to detail.
Early June should be a really nice time to enjoy the area and the beach without the peak summer crowds.

Beaches that are still in Tuscany, and that we’ve visited several times in the past five years, are along the stretch from Cecina down to Piombino, with a base at Donoratico. The area just inland is where Super Tuscan wines are produced, and include the hilltowns Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci.
