Hello! We are on the last leg of our trip in Italy and arrived in Abruzzo last night. Unfortunately, we are pretty unhappy with our decision to spend 6 nights here. I think part of the issue is positioning ourselves somewhere to cover the beach and mountains, but we're closer to Pescara and it feels very much not what we look for in a beach (staying on a farm in Manoppello). Since we don't have an umbrella, a few beds are great, but it looks so commercial and like lining up rows and rows of people. Vasto is about an hour away which is unfortunate on my part with our AirBnB location, but is that area our best bet? Unfortunately, we also started our trip in Porto Ercole and that's really what I want, is there a small fishing village that's comparable in this area? I know I'm being a bit of a brat and not fully appreciating the area for what it is, but hoping to save the end of our trip!
