Can anyone recommend a good battlefield tour company in Italy - focussing on the 1st Canadian Corps and their campaigns? My husband and I are planning a trip, in either May/June or Sept/Oct 2015, depending on available tours.

That is so specialized that I doubt if there are many public tours. I would work through the history branch of the Canadian armed forces to see if they had any information. They might know of specialized tour guides on that subject. If I wanted something like that on a US army corp that is where I would start in the US.

Thanks Frank. I should have been more specific. There are a number of battlefield tours offered by Canadian and other companies. What we are looking for are local guides, with whom we could work to develop a personalized itinerary, based on the travels of the Canadian Army, and more specifically, the 4th Field Company that my Dad was with. We recently came across a few sources that look promising, and which we are pursuing. Thanks for your response.
