Base for visiting Tre Cime versus potential bus overcrowding?

I'm planning on staying some days around the general Tre Cime region (staying at or visiting Dobbacio, Lago di Braies, Villabassa, St. Candino, Sexten, Tre Cime) in July and wondering how potential bus crowding may affect things.

For example if I stayed in Misurina in order to be closer to Tre Cime then is there a potential danger that when the bus arrives on its way to Tre Cime I can't get on because it will be already too full? And therefore it might be better to stay in Dobbacio where the bus starts and thus theoretically more chance of boarding the bus?

What's the situation like leaving Tre Cime later in the afternoon/evening - are there huge throngs of people waiting for the bus and there's a risk of not being able to get on?

I can't really speak to the Tre Cime area but we had to wait for the next bus at Passo Sella at "rush hour" in late September. The buses in Val Gardena were often SRO in the afternoon.....so i would think it highly likely that the busses will be jammed in July.
